Just back from Spring Break, Anita Vidwell reports on traveling Georgia's coastline in search of the perfect barbecue, only to discover the secrets of knowing the perfect gratuity.
In her report to AV-1, Ms. Vidwell notes, "Although eating out played a central theme, I had not considered the consequences of leaving a push-over man-child (that would be my Chance) with the weighty responsibility of leaving an appropriate gratuity. (The man has a heart of gold and knows his barbecue, but he can be the biggest sap when it comes to overpaying for luke-warm service.)"
This week, we present Anita Vidwell's tips for the waits-of-the-world who really want to ... (hint: it's all about Courtesy, Timeliness, Mindfulness). Chime in on the AV-1 list and let us know what you think!
